Dorothy passed away in her home on Tuesday, June 1, 2018, surrounded by friends and family. 

Dorothy graduated from Cooley High School. She worked for many years at the Detroit Teachers' Credit Union and volunteered at St. Mary's Mercy Hospital in Livonia upon retirement. 

She is survived and will be sadly missed by sons, Phillip (Debbie), Shad Bay; Bill (Shelly), Lantz; and Richard (Tracey), Ot tawa; grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica), Fredericton; Ashlea (Jason), Halifax; and Olivia and Victoria, Ottawa; and great-grandchildren, Carter and Riley.

Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, June 03, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM with Memorial Service at 5:00 PM located at Charles R. Step Funeral Home, 18425 Beech Daly Rd. (between Six & Seven Mile Rds.) in Redford Twp.
