Caroline was raised in Garland and graduated from Bear River High School. She met the love of her life, Billy Phillips, early in life as he grew up across the street from her family.  They married on June 17, 1947, in the Salt Lake Temple.

She enjoyed many hobbies such as square dancing, skating, knitting, rug hooking, swimming and going for walks. She loved to play cards with friends and family. Jennifer also volunteered at the elementary school reading to children. She is survived and will be sadly missed by sons, Phillip (Debbie), Shad Bay; Bill (Shelly), Lantz; and Richard (Tracey), Ot tawa; grandchildren, Christopher (Jessica), Fredericton; Ashlea (Jason), Halifax; and Olivia and Victoria, Ottawa; and great-grandchildren, Carter and Riley.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, and love of her life, Norman "Gerald"; sisters, Mabel (Gerry) Gouthro, Eva (Hector) Whitty. As requested, cremation has taken place.
