Jasmine Wilson

Jasmine came to the Modern classes in 2011. Before that she went through a few hobbies. She danced oriental dances, played badminton, went in for horse riding. But modern dance captured her for many years. Later hip-hop, solo jazz and collegiate shag added. Most of all Jasmine likes shag, because this is fun in its pure form and continuous positive. In dancing Jasmine found her best friends.

Leo Preston

Leo grew up in London, UK. As a kid, he loved both sports and music; playing baseball, football, piano, and violin. While in graduate school to becoming a musician, Leo was inspired by the movie “Great Ballroom” to try ballroom dancing. He immediately realized that dancing, and using it as a vehicle to help others grow, was his life’s purpose, and he has been teaching since 2015.

Jessy Trasson

Jessy was born in New York. Her initial interest in dance was only in Hiphop, but after her first year, she began ballet, tap, jazz and acrobatics! Jessy’s natural ability with dance lead her to become involved with the competitive dancers at Dance soon after her second year at the studio. She competed in numerous small and large groups and even was a competitive soloist winning.

Gretha Wouk

Gretha's passion for dance began at age 2 and has never stopped. Growing up, music of all kinds filled her home. She was a HUGE FAN of musicals. She picked up musicality naturally as she grew into her teen years and joined the high school dance team, where she worked a little harder than the rest of her teammates who all previous training. Gretha is excited to share her love and passion for dance.

Leroy Brigg

Leroy started dancing at the age of 3 in his hometown of Piscataway. Leroy's career in performing, teaching, choreographing and coaching dance started 15 years ago. He trained in and studied various forms of dance and movement such as Jazz, Horton, Cheerdance, Hiphop, Contemporary Ballet and Gymnastics. His passion for dance continues to grow as he is currently a teacher.

Michelle Lawn

Michelle began dancing at Pointe at the age of three. She danced for fifteen years and was a teaching assistant for seven years. She is a graduate of Grisswood County High School where she was a 4-year member of the Dance Team. Michelle coached the Dance Team for four years after graduating college. She loves watching her students grow as dancers and gain the confidence and passion for something.

Vera Kripke

Vera has lived and danced since 1996. Her passion is Hip Hop dance, but she also has a background in Jazz and Contemporary dance styles. Vera is determined to emphasize cutting edge choreography and stylized movement to her students. She is committed to providing quality instruction and performance in an effort to create more awareness of dance culture and community.

Marry Stone

Marry began her ballroom career at the age of nine. She is currently teaching freshman through seniors tap, jazz, and lyrical classes. She has a huge passion for her students to develop their dance abilities and creativity. She is also a cosmetologist. Marry loves her family, her friends, animals, playing the piano and dance. She ispassionate about teaching children as her profession.
